About Lindsey: I am a Master Degree certified Physical and Health Educator, an AFAA certified Group Fitness Instructor, a certified soccer coach with 15+ years of experience, and a certified PiYo instructor. I dream of a society where people of all ages and sizes, are driven to become the best person they can physically and mentally be. I dream of a world where parents and their children workout side-by-side. Specialties: I am a full time Physical and Health Educator in the Medford School district, and have been for 5+ years). I have specialized in instructing people in all walks of life, including special abilities (Adaptive Fitness). I have been a soccer player throughout my life reaching an elite level in college and this passion has now translated into coaching soccer U-5 up through high school. About Amy: I have a bachelors in exercise science and I am an RN, MSN. I am a runner and enjoy running half marathons and marathons. I love motivating others to discover the mental, physical, and health benefits of exercise. Specialties: Motivating people with high energy fitness while having fun at the same time. Motto: Take care of yourself first. Then you will have the energy and love to care for others.
About Danielle: I have loved fitness my entire life, and have grown into this profession through passion and experience. I was left paralyzed from the knee down on my left leg after a boating accident, so I understand the importance of movement and a mind/body connection. I want to help others achieve that connection and support them in their fitness journey. I love training people and want nothing more than to help others experience all of the physical, emotional, and mental benefits of movement. I am certified in NASM’s CPT and Corrective Exercise Training Programs. Additionally, I am certified with Silversneakers. Specialities: The experiences in my life have shaped my creativity as a Fitness trainer and instructor. From the countries I’ve traveled in, to space, time, or equipment constraints, to becoming paralyzed and needing to learn how to move, I have learned to create workouts for all circumstances and abilities. Motto: Working out is not a punishment. We do it because we love ourselves! We do it because we want to be the best version of ourselves!
About Crystal: I am a certified AFAA Group Fitness Instructor and have been teaching/coaching group fitness and small group training in the Rogue Valley for seven years. I also hold a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and have certifications in Core De Force, BODYSHRED, Insanity Live, and Tribe. I love all elements of physical fitness and the creativity that comes with fine tuning those skill sets. Physical fitness can be fun. It’s rewarding showing people how to make it enjoyable, in a way that challenges them beyond what they knew they could do. Specialties: Sports conditioning is where I started, and still specialize in. My specialties have evolved further: there is a regression and progression for every movement, no matter the level, goal or even injury. I work with people at their level. Motto: Everyone can be a well-rounded athlete.
About Sarah: I am a certified Group Fitness Instructor through SCW Fitness Education and a certified PiYo Instructor. I have devoted much of my time over the past 18 years to the fitness industry, including several bodybuilding competitions. I find great reward in motivating individuals to move past what they believe to be unachievable. Specialties: I like to customize moves to challenge each member while keeping in mind their fitness level. I encourage and create an inclusive environment for all. About Emily: I have been an AFAA certified Group Instructor for over 8 years. I teach Mat Pilates as well as Athletic conditioning and Boot Camp classes. I played four years of collegiate level soccer where my passion for training and conditioning really began! I received my US Soccer level E coaching license and coached Varsity level soccer for 6 years at North Medford High School. I enjoy seeing a diverse range of abilities come into class and gain quality movement. My goal is to empower, strengthen, improve mobility and have fun! Specialties: Working with a wide range of ages and abilities; modifying to fit everyone’s needs and challenging you where you are. About Carla: Carla started martial arts at the age of 7 at her father’s dojo and she is a second degree black belt. She also spends time training people in martial arts and boxing classes for competitions. Her other love is dance and she began teaching Zumba at the age of 18. Zumba is a great part of her life and she loves to encourage others to dance and have fun! Specialties: Carla has a keen ability to motivate and inspire new and advanced students alike to simply let loose, have fun, and enjoy life through movement. Motto: You are better today than you were yesterday!
About Andrew: I began doing team yoga with my high school baseball team and didn’t think much of it at the time. My body was in pain when I finished playing baseball in college so I turned to the ocean and yoga to initiate healing. I completed a 200 hr teacher training at Corepower Yoga in 2015 and a 200 hr training at Riff’s Studio in 2016. I use yoga as a tool to enhance walking and running mechanics. My favorite types of yoga are yin yoga and yoga therapy! Specialties: I aim to provide a safe space for everyone to be themselves and connect deeper with their inner peace of mind. I see yoga as the union between breathe and body. Motto: “We are exactly where we’re supposed to be right now, otherwise we’d be elsewhere.”
About Matthew: Matt was born and raised in Medford, OR. He’s a former varsity student-athlete for South Medford High School, Division II, and Division I collegiate athlete. He has experience in performance training as well as rehab based exercises. As a trainer his focuses will be around athlete development, form training, and sports performance training as well as post rehabilitation strengthening and general fitness. Motto: “Your attitude affects your effort and your effort will affect your results”
About Jeremy: Jeremy certified through the American Council on Exercise and has a Degree in Biomedicine. He is currently a student in a Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of St. Augustine. Jeremy was a collegiate football player and all-conference receiver for Southern Oregon University from 2012-2015. Specialties: Jeremy’s focuses are sport specific training, post rehabilitation training, performance training, and strength and agility improvement. Jeremy is passionate about helping others achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle by maintaining and improvements in the ability to move effortlessly and enjoy activities of daily living. Motto: “The only two things you can control are your attitude and your effort.”
About Keyari: Keyari has been playing basketball for 13 years. During my career at South Medford High School she won a state championship my freshman year, going 30-0, and went to the state tournament every year. Keyari then went on to play at Pepperdine University and graduated this past April with a BS Business Administration, a minor Hispanic Studies, and completion of the pre-med course load. Specialties: Basketball training including: youth camps, classes, training, group fitness classes, and adult leagues. Motto: “Everything happens for a reason.”
About Julimarie: I am an AFFA certified Group Fitness Instructor as well as RIPPED, Core de Force, Turbokick, P90x and Tribe . I chose to share my enthusiasm and love of exercise with others after I lost 40 pounds and never wanted to gain it back! Now 15 years later, I have stayed at the same weight and want others to have a great quality of life! Specialties: Bringing high energy and motivation with 10 years of being a Group Fitness Coach! About Jayson: Jayson Tonkin, BS, NASM CPT, has over 30 years of experience in athletic and personal training. A prior collegiate athlete at SOU (SOCS), former competitive power lifter and bodybuilder, Jayson enjoys all areas of fitness from athletic sports conditioning, post rehabilitation, special populations to general health. Jayson’s main focus will be, emphasizing sports specific/athletic training, personal training, nutrition coaching. Motto: “The body isn’t lazy; the mind is.”
